Who's In the Stables:

Mr. President
Mr. President is the newest member of our herd. While he came to us with ringbone, arthritis, and some hoof issues, he had no critical conditions at the time of his euthanasia appointment. So the vet contacted our team to see if we could help. He is currently sponsored by two of our Officers!

Raven
At 17 years old, Raven is one of our youngest horses. He has injuries from being entangled in a fence that cause his fetlock to touch the ground and make him unrideable. He was nearly put down because nobody wanted a lame horse, but Raven still has a long life ahead of him!

Indy
Chyna and Indy were surrendered to West Coast Minis because their owner suffered losses during one of the west coast fires. She couldn’t afford to keep them, but wanted to make sure they went to a good home and not auction. They came to us via adoption from West Coast Minis.

Marley
Marley is around 22 years old and she was adopted by our founders several years ago. When she first arrived in our care, she was severely malnourished and sunburnt to the point of hair loss. Her tail was almost gone due to the poisonous haole koa plants she was snacking on.

Marbella
Marbella and Delphina are 32 years old, according to vet records! They came to us because of their special feeding needs and health problems; they could not survive on pasture grass alone due to their advanced age.

Youka
Youka is well-known in the community, as she used to be an amazing polo horse! After Youka was in her 20s with arthritis, her owner surrendered her to a rescue (which is now closed) because her daughter moved away and she did want to care for her, plus Youka was not sellable due to her condition.
